I just bought a nice planner for 2012 that's 8" x 5" with an attractive silver color and vinyl cover. It has both weekly and monthly days. It looks like the manufacturer is BlueSky. On sale from the Blue Sky website the cost is $ 12.99. But guess where I got it? At the 99 Cents Only store for 99 cents!
When running a business that requires boot strapping--watching those expenses closely--then the 99 Cents Only Store, or Dollar Tree, or Dollar General are good places to first look for supplies. This is especially true for items that are used internally and perhaps no one will see.
However, I stopped at the 99 Cents store to pick up chewing gum packs that I put in a mailing campaign that I'm calling Sticky and Sweet. It's a good place to start for purchasing office supplies for entrepreneurs on a budget.
