I got an idea for a simple and affordable direct mail campaign to let small business owners in Pasadena know about marketing their companies with website solutions and article marketing.
I wrote a sales letter with memorable content. I put my picture at the bottom of the letter along with my full name and contact information.
Let's see how effective the letter will be. I call it my sticky and sweet campaign. I'll write up the full campaign but I used a pack of gum I bought from the 99 Cents Store (4 packs for 99 cents), I paid 8.6 cents per envelope from Office Depot, postage was $ 1.10. I printed out the letter in color at Kinko's for .59 cents. If I were to do more than 100 letters then I would check with a local printer to get better pricing.
But I don't have to spend more than $ 50 to $ 60 to test the campaign and see if it's worth continuing.
I'll post again and let you know if my direct mail solution is effective--it's certainly simple and affordable.
