Entrepreneurs, would-be business owners, and people looking to make changes later in their careers may benefit from attending a school focusing on entrepreneurial studies or discovering other resources to help in business.
For people running a small business there are many low-cost resources, especially in and around the greater Los Angeles area. Here is a partial list:
SCORE - a national organization serving business owners with free and low-cost services and hands-on workshops. Log on to www.score.org.
SBDC - Small Business Development Centers are across the nation. There are 900 sites total with one-on-one counseling in a variety of areas. SBDC and SCORE may team up on workshops. Click here for SBDC listings and descriptions. You can also log on here at America's SBDC.
